Description
For sale is an exquisite Victorian-era engraved silver serving spoon, made by Robert Fead Mosley in England. Based on the silver marks on the back, this piece was made at his factory between 1894 and 1900, and it is possibly silver electroplate or silverplate, given what Mosley was making at the time. This amazing spoon is completely engraved and embossed throughout, with a acanthus, scrolls, leaves, and flowers, and a shield-style place for a monogram on the handle. The bowl of the spoon has a scalloped edge. A truly unique piece, and perfect for any silver collection!
