Rare Art Deco period silver guilloche enamel 6-piece liquor set
Rare Art Deco, circa 1925-1930, Silver Guilloche Enamel and engraved crystal 6-piece liquor set composed of a tray, a bottle and stopper and 4 glasses or goblets. The tray has a sunburst engine turned central design and delicate handles chase with a flower motif, typical of the Art Deco period. This set is marked 935 throughout. We believe it is probably English, based on a very similar example we found which was stamped with the marks of Mappin & Webb. This set is in excellent age appropriate condition and only shows 3 minute mars ( 3 very tiny discolorations in the yellow enamel on one of the goblets). A rare and very collectible set for anyone loving of guilloche enamel.
