    Description

    This fabulous box was the first of the "Twelve Years Of Christmas" boxes issued by the famous London silversmith Stuart Devlin in 1970.
    This Stuart Devlin ‘partridge in a pear tree’ Twelve Years of Christmas Limited Edition Surprise parcel-gilt-silver box, hallmarked London 1970,
    This box, the Partridge In A Pear Tree, measures two inches square and is 3 3/4 inches tall to the top of the bow.
    Inside, the partridge is perched in a tree that also has four enameled leaves and two pears. The box is heavy and weighs 1 pound 2 ounces.
    It is fully hallmarked on the bottom by Devlin, dated 1970, and is numbered 93 out of the Limited Edition of only 100. It is in very good condition as shown and comes in its original box.
